Oh, and it's mentioned in the installer, but I'll still mention it here as well;
a) This fixes your game if it's broken (ch5 crash, ch2/3 save problem)
b) You cannot load corrupted save files, so if you saved in a previous patch and it doesn't load, you'll have to make a new save
c) You need to RELOAD FROM THE PREVIOUS CHAPTER if your chapter is screwed up (can't save or it crashes at some point)

And before anyone asks again, error 1512 means it can't find the disc, aka you haven't copied the NoDVD exe.

I started out playing Chaos;Head in Japanese before playing the English translation, so for me it isn't a case of only liking what I can't have.

I'm starting to wonder what anyone would bother translating anything when the majority of you decide that anything translated is automatically a "piece of shit" immediately after it's release.

So why do random retards on /jp/ hate C;H now, because it's now translated and too 'mainstream' to like, or because the main char's rabid otakuness hits too close to home for most of the kiddies here?

When a great game like Gore Screaming Show isn't getting translated and has to be used by AGTH and ATLAS and is asked about the game repeatedly, over a self full filled shounen that isn't even remotely suspense or a thriller like I had expected it to be when I heard about it. Some people hate Chaos;Head for legitimate reasons. Don't throw "LOL MAINSTREAM HATER" on them just because.

I plan to play it myself, but the million threads a day is really turning me off. I have to push really hard to get through immense fanboyism and find a good "mainstream" game, anime, whatever. The majority ruins it for the minority.

It lost a lot of appeal for me just because the ending was so much weaker than the start. It wasn't bad by any stretch, but it wasn't nearly as memorable as it was looking to be through the first few chapters. Doesn't help that we have a new installer thread every four hours, either.

I don't know why I would hate it if it got translated, but so far I'm enjoy the game even with the limited ATLAS and ATGH. I'm getting exactly what I expected, a thriller and suspense game with dark themes where I can put on my thinking cap.

Chaos; Head on the other head is not what I had expected especially from the description. I was thinking alright this delusion thing will be great. I can sit there and piece things together and at the same time have my mind fuck. Instead, what I got from the game was bad character development, lousy moral lessons, plot that made me face palm, and Bleach and Naruto action! Give me a break.

Everyone thought chaos;head was a pretty all right game, before it got translated and while it was being translated. Now that it actually is translated, it's just unlimited troll works.

No, that's a zip with sound effects I uploaded, because some people wanted the 'ambulance' and 'buzzer' sounds. SE is short for Sound Effects (and is the name of the internal folder C;H stores the sound effects in).

I was talking about my previous topic about this patch. It just suddenly 404'd this morning (GMT + 1).
Either it was just inactive for hours while I was asleep, and coincidentally exactly then /jp/ was pretty active, or it just got auto-saged because it had too many posts and was removed before I woke up.

I would not take a lot of what you see on it to heart or else you'll never feel good about anything, yourself, or anyone else.
