With that said, was there a combination attack which goes like this?

1. Voltes V hits enemy with Choudenji Ball
2. Daimos hits with Freeze/Flame combo (can't remember name)
3. Combattler readies Grandasher, locking target in place
4. Daimos jumps onto Combattler as the Grandasher accelerates towards target
5. Voltes V strikes target with V no ji-giri, jumping out of the way
6. Boosted by Grandasher, Daimos punches through the target
7. Massive explosion, the three pose if the attack destroys the target

There's a group subbing Daimos that's done the first 2 episodes and I've seen nothing to suggest they've dropped it.

There's also a batch torrent of the 15 episodes some guy subbed for his Youtube channel.

Both of these are on Tosho.

also, the is the usual Italian dub.
It's pretty good and faithful, its main problem is the shortage of VAs. Kazuya AND Richter being voiced by the same guy is pretty awesome, though, he managed to give them different enough voices

Hopefully the group with 2 episodes done will continue.

Are there any other classic shows of that era that are really great? I understand the original Mazinger and Getter aren't brilliant, and Combattler isn't so good after the halfway point.

I enjoyed what's done of Daitarn 3, and Voltes 5.

What I'd like to see is the original Jeeg subbed, because while the new series was good, the original had that delicious female companion, and I'LL FORM THE HEAD.
