The Cartoon Network we had where I live was a shitty international version, which only showed the toonami promos, but never the shows themselves. It drove me crazy, since they looked so great.

One day, they did show 'em. I had no idea what was going on, but laser-scyths were being chucked at huge robots and explosions everywhere and people dying and it was fucking AWESOME.

I guess that imprinted the love for fuckhuge robots into my mind.
